Props are a great tool for your practice. They give you space and support to explore postures and help you gain insight into your limitations so you can move past them.
1-2 soft blocks. This block has a bit of cushion, perfect for under your seat and knee.
1-2 cork blocks. This block is great for support and balance, perfect for under your hips.
I found this blanket at Ikea, it's perfect for your home practice because it's dense enough to give you a lift (and it's cheap)!
I recommend quick-release yoga straps, to make it easy to get in and out of poses on your own.
This is by far my favorite yoga prop. A little added weight can make you feel grounded and stable.
We recommend investing in 1 or 2 stability balls to help challenge your strength and stability in a pilates class!
